FLOWERS
Explore the Series
This series is inspired by nature, especially by the extraordinary beauty, diversity of colors and shapes that we find in flowers. Made mostly from waste glass, it transforms what could be considered waste into pieces of art, which invite reflection on sustainability and environmental impact.
Its goal is to be a means to question how we interact with our environment. The works in this series not only rescue the beauty of these discarded elements, but also symbolize the fragility of our relationship with nature. It is an example of how art can merge with ecological activism.
A variety of tones come together in different shapes and textures. The choice of these colors is because they are associated with innocence, love, dedication and generosity.
This serie was created using two techniques: flameworking and fusion glass, and three different types of glass: float glass, bullseye glass and recycled glass.
